Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890) was a Dutch painter whose intense color, expressive brushwork, and emotional directness made him one of the most influential figures in Western art. The Drinkers dates from 1890, near the end of his life, when he was working prolifically and often reinterpreting compositions after other artists he admired.

This painting is one of van Gogh's canvases based on a work by Honoré Daumier, translated entirely into van Gogh's own idiom — swirling, energetic strokes and a vivid, unnaturalistic palette. The scene shows four figures raising glasses to drink, three of them wearing dark top hats and heavy coats, with a child in the foreground looking on.

The composition is anchored by a green tabletop and a glowing greenish-yellow pitcher at center. Behind the drinkers, a pale, restless sky of curling white and blue clouds rises above a sketchy townscape with smoking factory chimneys and rooftops, set against strokes of green and lime. The reds — a scarf, a cap, wine in a glass — punctuate the cool blues and greens with van Gogh's characteristic contrast.

Real art, not AI. An authentic work by a real artist — Vincent van Gogh, reproduced from the original — never machine-generated.

A print that lasts. Water-based pigment inks are pressed into the fabric — no plastic, no cracking, no peeling — so the design stays soft and breathes with the shirt.

Garment-dyed color. Dyed into the finished garment for a soft, vintage-washed tone with subtle depth — richer and more lived-in than a standard printed tee.

Printed on a premium Comfort Colors 1717 garment-dyed tee — heavyweight ringspun cotton with a soft, broken-in feel and a relaxed unisex fit. True to size; size down for a more fitted look.
