Hiroaki Takahashi (also known as Shotei Takahashi) was a prolific Japanese printmaker active in the early twentieth century, associated with the shin-hanga ("new prints") movement that revitalized traditional woodblock techniques with modern sensibilities of light, atmosphere, and mood.
