Adolphe Willette (1857–1926) was a French painter, illustrator, and poster designer closely associated with the artistic life of Montmartre and the Parisian cabaret scene at the turn of the century. He is remembered for his lighthearted, often mischievous imagery, frequently featuring Pierrot figures, angels, and playful allegories.

This lithographic poster advertises the Cabaret du Ciel ("Cabaret of Heaven"), one of the famous themed cabarets of Montmartre in Paris. Rendered against a deep teal-blue sky scattered with golden stars, the design carries the decorative flair and commercial exuberance typical of Belle Époque poster art.

At the center, a winged angel — depicted as a red-haired young woman with sweeping, outstretched wings — reaches upward toward the scattered stars, as if placing them in the heavens. The bold white lettering "CABARET DU CIEL" arches across the upper portion of the sheet. Printer's text at lower right reads "Imp. Delanchy & Cie, St Denis, Paris," with the artist's signature nearby.

Real art, not AI. An authentic work by a real artist — Adolphe Willette, reproduced from the original — never machine-generated.

A print that lasts. Water-based pigment inks are pressed into the fabric — no plastic, no cracking, no peeling — so the design stays soft and breathes with the shirt.

Garment-dyed color. Dyed into the finished garment for a soft, vintage-washed tone with subtle depth — richer and more lived-in than a standard printed tee.

Printed on a premium Comfort Colors 1717 garment-dyed tee — heavyweight ringspun cotton with a soft, broken-in feel and a relaxed unisex fit. True to size; size down for a more fitted look.
